Welcome to Villa Inspirante

Villa Inspirante was founded in 1740 as an olive mill by the Venetian Count Kompitsi to serve the neighboring village bearing his name. The mill employed local workers and craftsmen until the mid-20th century, when it was transformed into a villa. Recently it has been reborn as Villa Inspirante and breathtakingly renovated to preserve the historic ambiance of the mill and olive grove while creating a luxurious private holiday destination. Relax in and around our new 9 x 4 meter swimming pool and its marble terrace, or swing in the hammocks under the shady palm and yucca trees surrounded by timeless stone walls, flower gardens, and a lush green lawn. The remnant olive mill and millstones offer a glimpse of the past while modern amenities provide a care-free relaxing holiday experience.

The Villa is just 5km from the old town of Corfu. However, there are many shops and restaurants in the town of Kompitsi including a taverna right next door to the Villa that specializes in traditional Corfiot dining. You can even have home-cooked meals delivered straight to your door  at your convenience.

The Villa offers a range of outdoor spaces including lawned gardens surrounded by ancient olive trees and a patio dining area with a pizza oven and BBQ covered by a leafy pergola. Your friends and family will love exploring the grounds to discover the Mill's historic past.

Accommodation is all on one level.  The large living room with high beamed ceilings and access to the terrace is the perfect gathering spot at the end of a day spent visiting the beaches of Corfu. Prepare a meal in the well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table or curl up with a book in the cozy library.

Two beautifully decorated bedrooms with two double beds each share a bathroom with walk in shower. The master bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with walk in shower.

This villa is perfect for guests who enjoy hiking as there is a beautiful Italian pine forest just minutes away, plus a multitude of hiking trails. If you are looking for a more relaxing holiday, spend an afternoon enjoying a nap in the hammock.
